Against this backdrop, the EMEA Corporate Communications team transformed complex, proprietary data into clear, authoritative human narratives that helped stakeholders navigate uncertainty with confidence. Operating as a lean team of four, led by International Communications Director, Angelina Haynes, the team delivered record-breaking results through precision, creativity, and disciplined execution.
Morningstar was consistently featured in tier-one outlets including Financial Times, Bloomberg, BBC Business Today, CNBC Squawk Box, Reuters, MoneyWeek, and City A.M. Journalists and clients confirmed that its data-driven commentary was shaping financial conversations and how media stories were framed.
Through Morningstar's global “Where Data Speaks” campaign, the team showcased leadership in private markets, AI, and risk. Initiatives included a high-impact media roundtable and CEO engagements that earned the company praise for transparency and investor education.
Innovative digital programmes elevated Morningstar’s presence, with LinkedIn engagement reaching all-time highs. A pilot “finfluencer” programme introduced Morningstar insights to younger, digitally native audiences, reaching over one million followers.
Internally, the team fostered transparency, connection and pride through financial literacy programmes, ERG initiatives, and bringing people together for local causes.
Morningstar’s EMEA Corporate Communications team is small but mighty, demonstrating what a modern in-house function can achieve when strategy, creativity, and execution align.
